📣ANAKBAYAN-USA’s 3rd National Congress is in 10 DAYS! 📣 Here are our members making signs and posters for the March in Defense of Civil Rights in the Philippines that we held on November 9th! LABAN KABATAAN!!! ✊🏽✊🏽✊🏽

We will meet in front of the US Federal Building at 4PM on Saturday Nov. 9 to call out the fascist attacks on community organizers in the Philippines!

Come to the Exposure Trip Report Back on Oct 12th from 4PM-6PM at the San Jose Peace & Justice Center! Food will be provided. We will appreciate any $5-$10 donations but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

KABA Reportback next week! Sept 25 6-9pm at the Mosaic Center on the SJSU campus. Come through y'all. One of our members will be sharing their experiences integrating in communities in Philippines with Kabataan Alliance.

You are invited to a forum on Imperialism and Migration and the Mga Kuwentong Barbero (Barber's Tales) film screening! Imperialism and Migration Forum 12PM to 3PM at the San Jose Peace and Justice Center. The discusses the root causes of migration of all people of color around the world. It will include topics regarding the Filipino diaspora, the Palestinian diaspora, the Uhuru movement in Africa, Chicano/Mexicano resistance, and many more topics! Come and learn with us! Mga Kuwentong Babero Film Screening 6PM to 9PM at the San Jose Peace and Justice Center. In a rural town during Martial Law, Marilou inherits her husband's barber shop. Initially, her shop fails to attract customers, but as she develops a friendship with a sex-worker, her business begins to blossom in the midst of a rebel insurgency. Come watch this movie about gender, oppression, and social change. For this event, food will be a $1 - $10 donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. These events are great opportunities to learn about the history of the Philippines, migration, and gendered oppression! We hope to see you there!
