November 30, 2012 — FYC, Welch Park, San Jose, CA. We had over 50+ attendees and more than 10 open mic performers attend our 1-year anniversary to celebrate the achievements of Anakbayan and the birthday of the revolutionary youth Andres Bonifacio. At the end of the night, we were feeling pumped for this upcoming year, overwhelmed by the community support, with everyone showing love and sharing their talents. Plus, there was a ton of food left to take home.
Shout outs to Anakbayan East Bay (ABEB), Pilipino Association of Workers and Immigrants (PAWIS), Filipino Youth Coalition (FYC), League of Filipino Students at San Francisco State University (LFS-SFSU), San Jose High School, Fremont High School, and all the other youth and organizations that shared the night with us. Excited to work with you all this coming year! Sulong Kabataan!
