7/22: People’s State of the Nation Address (SONA)

Monday 7/22 San Francisco. — Filipinos in the Bay Area, along with our  family, friends, and allies, will be staging our very own People’s State of the Nation Address (SONA) to stand in solidarity with the people in the Philippines and the rest of the world, and to address the annual SONA delivered by the President of the Philippines.

The People’s SONA will bring to light the true issues facing the Filipino people, from the perspective of the people. We will stand together, chant with our loud voices, and waive our colorful signs and flags to demand a change against the oppression, corruption, and conditions set by the Philippine government. In the three years of worsening crisis and lack of change, we will collect what is due and fight the puppet and tyrannical US-Aquino Regime!
